Hermitage Hideaway Hunter Valley
Hermitage Hideaway is in the heart of wine country in the N.S.W. Hunter Valley. It is about a 2.5 hour drive north from Sydney on the M1 Motorway and the Hunter Expressway.
The property is set back from the road and has sweeping views of the Broken Back Range and is private and peaceful. Bird and animal life abound here amid the man-made wine industry and associated tourist attractions. The Homestead sits at the top of the hill and is a five bedroom, three bathroom residence that offers great views and plenty of space for groups of 8-13. The smaller but still roomy two bedroom, two bathroom Cottage sits on the same site and can comfortably accommodate 4-6 people. We are very close to a number of popular wedding venues as well as international golf courses plus the beautiful Hunter Valley Gardens, not forgetting a plethora of cellar doors, concert venues and amazing restaurants. Our property is perfect for weekend retreats and meditative practices and we provide a range of retreat packages for interested guests.Hermitage Hideaway is especially suitable for groups and families who all wish to be under the same roof. And we are always happy to assist with weekend retreat packages as well as wine tours, bookings, breakfast and dinner packages and whatever we can do to make your stay in the Hunter a very special experience.

***Cots available and high chairs on request free of charge*** Guests to provide their own cot linen. Cots are currently unavailable due to Covid-19 restrictions. High chairs are still available upon request
Public holiday long weekends are a minimum 3 night stay.
Christmas and Boxing day are charged at the weekend rate.
50% deposit is required to secure the booking. This can be paid either by credit card (via the booking window with 1.8% surcharge) or direct deposit. To pay by direct deposit, please call on 0424 184 083 and we will handle your booking via our front desk. The deposit is required within 3 working days to confirm you booking. The final balance is due two weeks prior to the booking. within 3 working days
SPECIAL TERMS
Guest are requested to be mindful and respectful of the neighbouring community by keeping noise to a minimum after 11 pm.
We reserve the right to request a cash security deposit of $500 for the repair or replacement value of damage or loss to the property. You are also liable for any time and effort involved in replacing or repairing any item that has been damaged or lost/stolen. This also includes excess rubbish, bottles and the like.
Payment Policy
Payment is by Credit Card (via the booking window) or Electronic Funds Transfer as a direct deposit.
To pay by direct deposit, please call 0424 184 083 and to arrange you booking. We will send a booking confirmation with banks details for payment.
50% deposit is require within 3 days of booking to secure reservation.
The balance is to be paid 2 week prior to arrival.
Guests are requested to supply credit card details when making a booking in keeping with Little Hotelier Policy.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation Policy: Thirty days notice of cancellation is required, otherwise deposit will be refunded ONLY if accommodation can be re-booked.
Deposits may be transferred to another available date that is agreed upon by both parties without penalty if not cancelled with in 1 week of check in.
The total booking fee is forfeited if booking is cancelled within 48 hours of check in.
