Discount Cabin Short Stay (Request) 储备

Request a booking at a discounted rate. Best discounts are Sunday through Thursday nights.
NOTE: This is a request, not a confirmed booking. On receipt of your request, we will auto charge your credit card. This reserves you front position in the standby que. We will check our availability and, if we have availability, we will allocate a cabin appropriate for the number of people in your group, then send you a confirmation. If no availability, we will keep you at the top of our standby list. If a cabin becomes available, we will confirm your booking. You can advise us by email during your time on the standby list and we will cancel your request and make full refund. If nothing becomes available, we will refund any charges made.

Various cabins have differing bedding arrangements:
- As standard, this rate includes one queen bed for every two people.
- If the booking is for more than 2 people, we will provide either a second queen bed and/or bunks depending on which cabin(s) is allocated.
- You can request extra beds at $50. eg 4 people using one queen and two singles is $50 extra)

On discounted rates, full payment at time of booking, then no refunds, no discounts, unless we cannot find availability for you.

We will allocate one of our self-contained studio cabins but exactly which one will be a surprise. Gas cooking facilities, kitchen/dining/lounge area, en-suite bathroom, a cosy wood heater and a private deck with an outdoor bath. Ideally suited for couples it is equipped with a queen-sized bed. A single trundle and a sofa bed are also available. Base tariff includes up to 2 people using one bed.

Studio Cabin (Deck) 1 night 储备

A contemporary, spacious eco-cabin nestled in the forest offering easy access, privacy and spectacular views of old growth forest. Big Tree Cabin is a self-contained studio cabin with gas cooking facilities, kitchen/dining/lounge area, en-suite bathroom, a cosy wood heater and a private deck with an outdoor bath. Ideally suited for couples it is equipped with a queen-sized bed. A single trundle and a sofa bed are also available. Base tariff includes up to 2 people using one bed. Extra beds $40. Infants (less than 1 year old) are free of charge provided you are bringing your own bedding. A portacot and bedding can be requested as an extra $40 cost. However we only have 2 portacots, so a request does not guarantee a cot.

A contemporary, spacious eco-cabin situated within a Silver Wattle grove, this studio cabin offers forest views and a mossy native lawn, perfect for watching the resident wildlife as you sit by the fire inside. Acacia Grove is self-contained with gas cooking facilities, kitchen/dining/lounge area, en-suite bathroom, wood heater and a private deck with an outdoor bath.

This sunny cabin is ideally suited for couples or small families. It is equipped with a queen-sized bed and bunks. A double sofa bed are also available. Base tariff includes up to 2 people using one bed. Extra beds can be made available for $40.

Streamside is self-contained with gas cooking facilities, kitchen/dining/lounge area, en-suite bathroom, wood heater and a private deck with an outdoor bath. Water comes from natural sources and can be tannin coloured to varying degrees at different times of year. Tannin is the same natural chemical that makes tea brown.

Tucked away along it’s own private driveway Streamside Cabin is ideal for honeymooners and couples celebrating special times in their lives. It is equipped with a queen-sized bed and a single sofa bed can be added at extra $50. Infants (less than 1 year old) are free of charge provided you are bringing your own bedding. A portacot and bedding can be requested as an extra $50 cost. However we only have 2 portacots, so a request does not guarantee a cot.

They are about 4.2m diameter, fully carpeted and have a double sofa bed with all linen supplied, 12 volt solar electric lights and music, a wood fired heater, outdoor setting. Perfect for a couple who likes camping. Possible to add an extra mattress on the floor for a third person. Shared facilities are a one minute walk away.

Deluxe Tipee Multi nights 储备

Deluxe Tipees are timber, canvas and steel construction. Two Bedroom Cabin Full price flexible 储备

Pay 50% deposit at time of booking, then remainder 1 month before arrival.

On full price flexible rate, cancellations will incur a minimum $50 administration fee.
Cancellations over 1 month in advance, we charge you a flat $50 administration charge.
Less than 1 month but more than 7 days, we charge you the lower of either 50% of reserved services if unable to resell, or the $50 administration fee plus the difference if we resell for a lower price.

Less than 7 days, we charge you the lower of either 100% of reserved services if unable to resell, or the $50 administration fee plus the difference if we resell for a lower price. We will try to resell. The earlier you advise us, the better the chance that we can resell.

No show or early departure: Total cost of reserved services.

Two-bedroom cabin (W) 1 night 储备

Generous two-bedroom cabin with gas cooking facilities, kitchen/dining/lounge area, mobility impaired bathroom and toilet, wood heater, a large deck and upstairs balcony. A contemporary, spacious eco-cabin situated in an open Silver Wattle forest with outdoor space for children to play. Treat yourself to an outdoor bath under the stars in a private setting, just a short walk away on the edge of the forest.

Wallaby Grassland can sleep up to 8 people: the main bedroom has a queen-sized bed and bunks, while the large upstairs bedroom has a queen-sized bed, two single beds and an optional trundle bed. Base tariff includes up to 4 people using two beds. Extra beds $40. Infants (less than 1 year old) are free of charge provided you are bringing your own bedding. A portacot and bedding can be requested as an extra $40 cost. However we only have 2 portacots, so a request does not guarantee a cot.

This cabin can be reconfigured as a large open plan meeting space.
With level access and wheel-in bathroom with grab rails, shower seat and raised toilet, Wallaby Grassland meets mobility disability standards.

Three private tent sites, a short walk from the carpark and toilets. Minimum size is about 4m x 4m.
Huon Bush Retreats campground is not your average campground. We offer unpowered tent and campervan sites in an extensive habitat reserve with modern, spacious amenities, all the equipment you’ll need to cook up a storm, a five kilometre network of bushwalks and the opportunity for an outdoor bath under the stars.

Each tent site is private and surrounded by Huon Bush Retreat’s protected native forest.

Tentsite Car Access 储备

Two vehicle accessible tent sites, 30 second walk from the kitchen and toilets.
- One small site about 4.5m x 5m plus car parking space will be allocated by default.
- One large site suits camper trailers or two family tents. Please specify if you need this specific big site. There is a minimum charge of $60 per night including 4 people for this site.

Campervan Site 储备

Two drive in campervan or camper trailer sites:
- Campervan West is private and surrounded by trees, 30 second walk from the toilets. About 9m x 4.5m.
- Campervan East is convenient, open and sunny, adjacent the toilets. About 9m x 4.5m.
We will try to allocate your preferred site but no promises.
