Come and relax in the comfortable living areas or out on the decking and wind down while you watch the changing moods and colours over the water and mountains.
Limosa Rise has three self-contained cottages located five minutes’ drive from the entrance to Wilsons Promontory National Park. Quality fittings, well equipped kitchens, wood heaters, reverse cycle air conditioners and gas barbecues ensure a comfortable stay. Each bedroom has a queen-size bed, its own ensuite and the same stunning views over Corner Inlet and the northern mountains of Wilsons Prom that are seen from the restful living area. It is a relaxing haven, from which guests can explore the attractions of the Prom Coast.
Limosa Rise is situated above Duck Point – just 800m from the cottages, you can enjoy walking along Yanakie Beach with coastal bush behind you and the northern mountains of Wilsons Prom across the other side of the water.
The Duck Point loop track takes about 45 minutes to walk, and begins in coastal bush. There is a dramatic change in vegetation when you come out of the bush onto the sandy beach, and look out over water and mountains.
The Townsend Point walk will take you around rocks at the base of the cliff and back to Yanakie Beach. This walk is best done at mid to low tide to minimise the rock scramble.
We have a range of swimming/surfing beaches within half an hour’s drive. There are long, beautiful surf beaches at Sandy Point and Waratah Bay. In Wilsons Promontory National Park, there are ocean beaches such as Squeaky Beach and Picnic Bay, and the wide, popular Norman Bay at Tidal River. Lifeguard services operate over summer.

To get a taste of the vastness of the Prom and immerse yourself in the wild, head out to the Five Mile Road car park and walk down to Millers Landing. Then walk up to Vereker Outlook. From Vereker, you can see forever – to Darby Saddle, Corner Inlet and Cotters Beach. It’s a moderate walk rising from sea level to 148 meters.

The two bedroom cottage has two queen beds and sleeps a maximum of 4 people. There are 2 separate ensuite bathrooms in the 2 bedroom cottage.

1. To secure your booking we request a 50% downpayment.
2. Balance 50% is required 7 days prior to arrival date.
3. All bookings are non refundable after full payment has been made.
4. If cancellation occurs after full payment has been made we request you to advise
us of an alternative date for your visit to Limosa Rise Cottages.
5. Changes of dates are acceptable however if the season changes from high to low season
or alternatively from Low to High season, there may be a price change in the rebooked dates.

Cancellation Policy
If your cancellation occurs within 7 days
of your arrival and full payment has been made, we reserve the right to retain 50%
of your payment to be held over until an alternative date has been confirmed for your visit to Limosa Rise Cottages.
