AT CHECK IN:
Check-in time is from 2pm to 9.30pm, any late check-in times will need to be approved by notifying management. Check-in earlier than 2pm is subject to a $50 day fee and is also subject to availability of booked room. Accommodation charges are payable, using an acceptable method by the Motel, at check-in or time of booking. Surcharges apply on credit card payments. Check-out is at 10AM on the Check-out date. All keys/power tags are to be returned to Reception Key Slot or left in the locked room. BOOKINGS MADE THROUGH OUR WEBSITE ARE PREFERABLE AS THEY ARE MADE THROUGH THE SAME SECURE PLATFORM AS THIRD PARTY TRAVEL AGENTS.

PETS:
We are pet friendly. Pets are welcome. EXTRA CHARGES APPLY - Please discuss with Management. An AUD $200 cleaning fee will be charged to guest account if any pet has left a mess. Please consider other guest's comfort when staying with your pet.

SMOKING:
The Motel rooms are all non-smoking rooms and evidence of smoking in the rooms (including odour) will attract a cleaning fee of AUD $200 charged to your account. Ashtrays are provided outside of the rooms for smoking guests.

LIABILITY & CHARGES:
Total liability for any loss/damage (including but not limited to appliances, furniture, keys, fittings, fixtures and any unsettled charges by your Booking Agent or Company); is of the person registering to check in.

The Major Mitchell Motel accepts no responsibility/liability to compensate for any loss, theft or damage of personal property on, or brought into the Motel/room or in the immediate vicinity of any of the Motel areas/rooms including the car park and luggage storage facilities. Please make sure motel rooms are locked.

RIGHT OF REFUSAL:
The Motel reserves the right to refuse a guest entry and accommodation if, on arrival, management reasonably considers that the guest is under the influence of drink or drugs, is unsuitably dressed or is behaving in a threatening, abusive or otherwise unacceptable manner.

Payment Policy

Payment for the first night of accommodation must be made with a credit card at time of booking. Any further nights will be charged upon check-in.

PAYMENT OPTIONS
We accept: VISA, MASTERCARD, AMEX, EFTPOS & CASH. In addition we accept pre-established credit approved accounts by the Motel to charge back.

Credit Cards:
Payments made to the directly to the Motel by using a credit card attract a surcharge of additional 2.5% [on Visa and MasterCard] 3% [American Express] on the total invoice amount. Payments will be processed at check in and the guests checking in will be liable for all charges.

Cheques:
Require prior authorization with Management and must be cleared in our bank account prior to the arrival. No personal cheques will be accepted at check-in and/or during the entire stay. Normally we require 5 to 7 business days for the process of receiving, clearing in our account and entering the cheque amount as credit on to your reservation.

Cancellation Policy

Free changes to bookings and free cancellations can be made up to 24 hours prior to check-in date. 100% of the first night's room tariff will be charged within 24 hours of the arrival date for late changes, cancellations and failing to turn up.
