Child Policy
Children over the age of 14 are welcome to stay at Moon Gate Villa, and are included in the guest total for any room reservation. We regret that we only accept bookings with younger children when the Villa is booked for ‘exclusive use’. (Conditions apply). Check In & out
Check-in is from 3pm; earlier by prior arrangement and subject to availability. Please advise us if you are likely to arrive after 8pm.
Please Note: if you plan to arrive early, we can only guarantee access to a room before 3pm if the evening prior is booked.

Check-out time is 11am.

Airport Transfers
We offer a complimentary transfer service from Bay of Islands airport (KKE) in conjunction with our check-in time of 3pm.

Pets and allergies
Please note that a small, friendly dog and a cat share our property. Even though they are not permitted in guest rooms, we suggest that people with animal allergies consider alternative accommodation. For all of our guest policies, please visit our Policies & Conditions page.

Norme di pagamento

A current credit card number with expiry date is required to confirm a reservation. No charge will be placed on the credit card until the reservation date. MasterCard, Visa, American Express, JCB, EFTPOS, cash and bank transfers are accepted as methods of payment. 2% surcharge applies to American Express cards.

All tariffs quoted include 15% government Goods and Service Tax.

Norme di cancellazione

Moon Gate Villa is a small boutique accommodation business, and cancellations affect us greatly. We require 7 days’ notice of cancellation or a reduction of your reservation. Cancellations within the 7 day period will incur a 30% fee; and within 3 days or less, 100% of the total fee. Naturally we will try and re-book your reservation and if successful will waive your cancellation fees.

We highly recommend and encourage guests to take out comprehensive travel insurance to protect yourselves against unexpected changes to your itinerary.
