Mungumby Lodge BnB is located in the stunning rainforest mountains just before and south of Cooktown, north of Rossville, Port Douglas or Cairns. We offer quality private accommodation for travellers seeking to stay in a BnB lodge with use of the homestead facilities, waterfalls, pool and a nature experience rather than just a cabin. Our property is located adjacent to World Heritage Rainforest and at the apex of three very distinct landscapes as well as cultures, we are accessible and open year round. Our cabins offer private ensuite bathrooms and are clean, rustic, and spacious. We offer a lounge area and pool at the homestead as an extension to your room. Each cabin is located separately within the enclosed gardens with a great outlook. We have the Aussie fire pit area and guest BBQ plus microwave for self-catering in the evenings. We are a BnB so offer breakfast 7 days where it is included in the rate or booked prior. Most guestâs advice is we live in paradise, we wake up to this and the bird song every day!
We have just recently opened up one of our private cleared areas on the edge of the rainforest with mountain views for off grid RV camping. This area is separate from the lodge, has its own entrance and if very off grid for those wanting to escape crowded camp grounds to enjoy private camping.

Standard cabin retail rates include a tasty Tropical breakfast including fresh tea or coffee, and are stated as per night and per person incl GST. Some special long stay or room only offers do not include breakfast, which are therefore stated room only, please check! All rates are subject to Australian Pacific Lodges Pty Ltd terms of trade. Double and Superior rooms offer in room fridge and tea & coffee facilities. There is a guest fridge/freezer in homestead as well as a Aussie fire pit area and BBQ facilities. Children: 6 â 12 years inclusive as per extra person rate for room. It is the hosts final say regarding our dog policy and its terms, any dog accompanying a guest stay must be advised, in advance to avoid disappointment.

All reservations require a valid credit card with expiry date and 3 digit CCV to secure booking. No charge is made at the time of booking, full payment is required at check-in. A valid credit card is required for security to confirm bookings. Due to boarder closures and travel uncertainty, our terms are flexible to normal terms of trade. There will be no cancellation charge as long as the booking is cancelled 48 hours prior to arrival. No shows and cancellation with 48 hours prior to arrival will result in a accommodation being charged as booked. GROUP cancellation policy varies to the above.
