Conditions of Booking and Occupancy

PLEASE DO NOT TAKE THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS PERSONALLY.
THEY ARE WRITTEN FOR THE FEW THAT ABUSE RATHER THAN THE MANY THAT RESPECT THE NANOOKTHREDBO PROPERTIES.

Please read these conditions carefully, as you will be checking a box confirming the following.

Each person signing their registration form (“the Guest”) acknowledges and agrees that these conditions apply and extend to any person (also referred to as “Guest”) occupying or visiting the NanookThredbo apartment or complex and/or using the facilities in the complex at the invitation of or with the authority of the Guest.
1. Charges must be paid by credit card before occupancy commences and a Guest Registration form completed and photo ID as proof of Guest checked by NanookThredbo. If check-in is after 9pm in the evening a late security check in fee of $100.00 is required to be paid on arrival to Security or concierge.
2. Occupancy starts and finishes on the dates shown on the receipt as well as the Guest Registration form.
3. The Guest will be liable for payment of any charges incurred by any Guest together with all replacements and necessary costs for any damage or loss to the apartment and its contents or the Body Corporate property caused by any Guest.
4. The apartment must not be used for any unlawful purpose, parties are not permitted, and professional film or photography shoots must obtain written permission prior to occupancy.
5. Guests must only park cars in the designated areas assigned to their apartment or as otherwise directed.
6. No more people than what is the maximum occupancy for the apartment may stay in the apartment for the stay. If persons more than are on the Guest Registration form, immediate termination of the stay with no refund will as well as a $1,000.00 breach of agreement will occur to the Guest.
7. All properties are non-smoking, including the Squatters Run apartment building, including the balconies. No exception.
8. No animals or pets are to be brought into the National Park, as per National Park laws, except for Guide Dogs.
9. Neither the Body Corporate, the Manager nor the apartment owner is liable for any damage or loss of property that a Guest may sustain while in Squatters Run, including cars parked in designated carparks.
10. The by-laws, rules and regulations of Squatters Run Apartments and any reasonable direction of NanookThredbo Management must be complied with. The apartment must be vacated if after receiving a warning if any Guest fails to comply, they are then in breach of the agreement and a minimum $1,000.00 fine will be incurred.
11. NanookThredbo management may inspect the apartment at any time with reasonable notice and at any time without notice if the Manager is of the opinion that there has been a breach of these conditions.
12. NanookThredbo management and the apartment owner are not responsible for any misdescription of the apartment. Items may be swapped out due to damage or other conditions
13. The Guest authorises the manager to charge any credit card for any loss, damage or monetary contribution for which any Guest is liable under this document or otherwise.
14. If the occupancy ends or is terminated, the Guest must immediately vacate the apartment. The Manager is authorised to do whatever is required to enforce the eviction of any Guest and removal of Guests’ property.
15. It is a condition of occupancy that on departure that the apartment is left in a clean and tidy state, with all rubbish removed and the dishes washed and returned to their rightful place and the apartment left in a tidy manner. Failure to do so will result in a MINIMUM charge of $500.00 and up to $1,000.00 maximum being automatically charged on to the credit card provided for security.
16. Squatters Run Apartments and the NanookThredbo properties have a strict zero tolerance with a NO PARTY OR FUNCTION POLICY, and a NO NOISE policy after 10pm. This is to ensure the quiet enjoyment of other guests and residents in Squatters Run.
17. In an event of the guest being required to move due to an unavoidable circumstance the management must be given the first opportunity to find accommodation of a similar standard and in doing so any claims for a refund will not be negotiated or met.
18. Age of the Primary Guest at the NanookThredbo apartments must be over 21 – proof of age is to be provided on check in.
19. Under no circumstances will NanookThredbo or the owners of the properties be held responsible for adverse conditions beyond its control. ie. In the event of, but not limited to; power shortages, sewer blockages, Telecommunications, transport or access problems caused by extreme weather events, domestic waste removal, trespassing, noise etc.

NanookThredbo accepts the following payment methods:

Credit cards: Amex, Mastercard & Visa

Direct deposit on a case by case basis.

• A 50% non-refundable deposit is required for all bookings

• Final payment for the stay is to be paid 60 days prior to the stay start date. Where the booking of the stay is less than 60 days prior the the stay date the full amount will be paid.

We recommend all guests consider purchasing domestic travel insurance as well as domestic ski travel insurance for the unexpected.

Política de cancelamento

NanookThredbo adopts the following practice when dealing with the cancellation of a holiday booking:

• Any cancellations must be made in writing via email to the NanookThredbo to escape@nanookthredbo.com.au, with the following elements to be considered by the Guest

• No Refund will be paid for any reservations canceled within 120 days of the arrival date.

There are no refunds on deposits, unless the property is re-let for the same value. If the value is not reached, the same value will be refunded to the guest less a $300.00 administration fee.

No refunds for reduction in stay once in-house.
• Refunds –refunds will be made directly to guest by Direct Deposit.
• * An Administration Fee covers the cost of processing the booking, receipting, banking, cancelling , and re-crediting the guest via bank transaction.
• *The Letting Agent and the owner have first right of refusal for all bookings held. In the event of an owner refusing or cancelling a booking no cancellation fee will be charged. In the event that replacement accommodation offered is at a higher price, the owner or agent will not be liable for any monies needed to meet that higher price.
