Near Noah Creek

The Trail Reserve offers exclusive trailhead locations for hiking groups looking for an overnight rainforest camping experience. Sites, at the base of Mount Emmett, are ideal for large groups; with plenty of parking space. Located in secluded areas away from others, these remote clearings surrounded by rainforest provide shaded locations to pitch a tent, swag or set-up a trailer. Sites are ideally located for challenging yourself on the Reserves hiking trails. Ablutions are available for use at the Noah’s picnic and function areas. Enquire with the Reserve manager on the day for available times.

Trailhead camp sites provide limited facilities and are best suited to fully equipped campers or self-contained motorhomes and RV’s. Maximum stay is 7 days. Access to areas can be reached by most conventional vehicles, high clearance recommended. Due to overhanging trees and tight turns, it is not accessible for large RV’s, high campervans or buses. Discounts are available for larger groups.

A stay at Noah Creek is a unique chance to wake up to the sounds of the forest, enjoy a long lazy breakfast on the deck, perhaps a hike, walk to the beach or swim in the creek before heading back for an afternoon snooze and contemplating another candle lit dinner, followed by roasting marshmallows around your open fire.
Our glamping eco-huts are off-grid with solar lighting. Fully screened, have a front verandah and private en-suite garden with open air hot shower and bath supplied with gravity fed mountain spring water. They are private, secluded and each with their own self-catered bush camp kitchen, fridge and covered dining area.
