We recommend getting in before dark so that you can not only enjoy the magnificent sunset but can find us easily and not have to be concerned with wildlife at night on the roads.

Our road is 20 km of dirt and can be in varying states. We recommend medium to larger vehicles for a more comfortable journey. For most of the year is it passable by 2WD, just stay in the middle of the road and travel safely.

If you have a hire car, please check that it is allowed on an unsealed road. If in doubt, please call us. We will not refund room nights outside of our cancellation policy if you have not done your travel research and on your day of check in discover that we are actually in the Australian outback, accessible only on a dirt road!

Your cabin accommodation has some basic kitchen equipment but not a kitchenette as such.
You have tea and coffee making facilities, small bar fridge, crockery and cutlery,

Your glamping tent accommodation has a power pack to the tent and

An electric hotplate is available for $20
A large gas BBQ is available for $40

We can supply all meals at our homestead if you wish. This can be advised as you go, but we ask that you please advise us in advance if you would like to dine on your first night so that we can be prepared. Dinner is a la carte at the restaurant.

If we have a major event on we provide room service to the cabins.

For booking for dinner, please advise us of any dietary requests so we can take this into consideration when planning.

Please be advised that Ooraminna is a fully licensed venue and therefore there is no BYO to our homestead dining room and bar area or filmset.
You may consume your own beverages in your cottage but when dining at the homestead you must purchase beverages from our bar only. Ooraminna Station Homestead enforces safe alcohol consumption.

Please be aware of the native animals that live amongst us. Do not injure, feed or touch any of the native animals, just enjoy them.
We are a Native wildlife release site, so some of the Kangaroos might let you get quite close if you are quiet on approach.

Children and pets live at Ooraminna, so therefore we ask that you keep your speed when driving around the property to a "no dust" limit (10km/hr max) for the safety of fellow guests, children and animals.

Pets are allowed at Ooraminna at the discretion of the management. Please advise us if you are bringing pets onto the station.
All dogs must be kept on a leash. There is a $40 cleaning fee if you bring dogs to a cabin.
There are no "hunting or pig" dogs allowed on the property.
We encourage the native wildlife to flourish. We are a wildlife release site.
There are no feral pigs at Ooraminna. Only a large black pet named Juniper who thinks that she is a cow.
There may be wild dogs and cats.

Política de cancelación

Our cancellation policy is 100% fully refundable if advised more than one week before day of arrival unless booking made through third party.
Bookings cancelled inside of a week prior to check-in date a 50% cancellation fee will apply.
If your booking has been made through a third party there will be a charge of costs as per the booking agent policy.
Bookings cancelled within 48 hours of arrival will forfeit their monies.
