Unfortunately, due to our small size we typically cannot accommodate early check-ins or late departures without prior arrangements. We are happy to hold luggage until the room is ready should you arrive before your room is ready.

Please note we do not have your typical lobby/reception area, check in is done via the friendly staff in the Public House on the ground floor.

A late check out will incur a fee of $50. Latest check out time is 12pm and must be organised with the Hotel Manager.

Upon arrival, please collect your room keys from the staff at the public bar.
Upon departure, please leave your rooms keys in your room and exit via the side entry door.

Payment for the room will be charged when booking a room. Incidentals will be charged after check out.

Any charges incurred at the Public bar or Henry Deane will be settled at the respective establishments, not charged to the room.

All rooms accommodate a maximum of two people.

All hotel rooms have a noise curfew, only hotel guests are to be in rooms after 9pm.

Please note that we do not have a 24 concierge in attendance. Management are on the premises from 9am - midnight.
There is a number to contact during the hours of 12am - 9am, should you need assistance 02 9018 0125.
*On the instance you arrive after hours without notification, there will be a $45.00 fee applied to your room charge.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: We are licensed until 10pm on Sundays, please contact the after hours number 02 9018 0125 for entry to the premises.

If you are hosting a function in other venues within the building, guests are not permitted to stay in-house overnight on the same night.

Children are not accommodated.

No pets allowed.

Rooms are not wheelchair accessible.

Internet service available in the Public Bar and Henry Deane Cocktail Lounge and Hotel rooms. Wi Fi password available on arrival and in compendium in the rooms.

No smoking. If smoking occurs, there will be a $250 dollar cleaning fee per night charged to your credit card.

The mini bar is checked every morning post check out. All missing items will be deducted from the nominated credit card. The price list of these items is available in the room.

All hotel property is also checked post check out. Any missing items will be deducted at their replacement cost to the nominated credit card.

Please note the hotel shower amenities (body wash, shampoo, conditioner) are not complimentary. They are property of the hotel and must not be taken from the rooms.

Payment Policy

Full payment required upon booking.

A surcharge of 2.00% on Visa and Mastercard, 2.95% on Amex and 2.95% on Discover and JCB applies to all charges.

Cancellation Policy

As a small boutique hotel, we never overbook and always reserve a room specifically for each guest. Therefore, we are greatly impacted by cancellations. Please note the information outlined below.

You agree to abide by the terms and conditions imposed with respect to any completed reservation order for a hotel stay. You will be completely responsible for all charges, fees, taxes applicable to your stay.

Reservations made within fourteen (14) days of the arrival date are considered non-refundable.
Should a cancellation be made prior to 14 days of your booking, 100% percent of the total room charge amount will be refunded onto the nominated card.

In the event of a cancellation within 14 days prior to arrival, the total room charge amount equal to 100% percent is non refundable.

No Show (Non-use of reservation)
If you do not check in without notifying The Palisade Hotel, it will be considered a no show case. The whole period of your booking will be charged to the credit card you provided upon making your reservation and is non-refundable. The reason for this is that, as far as the hotel is concerned, the room is booked and we cannot let anyone else occupy it in case you arrive. Thus the room is held, un-occupied, until we are notified otherwise.
