General Terms & Conditions
Please read the terms and conditions before confirming your booking. Upon booking, you are deemed to have agreed to the following terms and conditions.

Arrival and Departure
• Check-in time is from 2.00pm until 10.00pm.
• After hours check in is no available so please ensure you arrive prior to 10pm.
• Check out time is 10.00am. Failure to check out by 10am may result in another night’s stay being charged.
• Guests are to provide a driver’s license or passport, mobile phone contact number and email address at the time of check-in.
• Minimum Age for check-in should be 18 years old and above.
• Payment for accommodation is required in full at check-in.
• Guests are to also provide a credit card upon check-in to pay for deposits, incidentals or any additional charges during the stay.
• A $100.00 deposit bond per night may be required on a credit card. The deposit bond in cash or Eftpos is $200.00 .Please ensure you have sufficient funds to cover the accommodation charges and deposit.

Conditions of Occupancy and In-house Policies:
• Smoking is prohibited on all levels and in all rooms. A charge of $200 applies to any guests smoking while within our rooms or premises. In the event smoking in a guest room triggers a false fire alarm, a fee of $1,700 will apply.
• Pets are prohibited within the guest rooms. A $200 cleaning fee applies if there have been pets in the accommodation during the period of use.
• In the event there is excessive cleaning required in the room, a minimum cleaning charge of $100 will be levied to your room charge.
• Room keys must be returned on check-out. Linen & Towels will be counted, and any damage, theft or lost keys may result in additional charges to your credit card and/or your bond forfeited.
• Keys are individually numbered and a record is kept of all keys issued. Failure to return key/s on the morning of checkout will incur a strict charge of $50 for each set of lost keys.
• NO PARKING on hotel premises. Your car will be towed; please ask reception for directions to the nearby council carpark.
• Exceeding the maximum number of guests allowed in the room is not permitted.
• Excessive traffic noise to and from the rooms, excessive noise that inconveniences other guests and drunken or disorderly behaviour is strictly prohibited.
• Possession of illegal drugs on hotel premises is strictly prohibited.
• The Plantation Hotel assumes no responsibility for loss of money, jewellery or other valuables.  We are not responsible for articles left in your room or motor vehicle.
• The Plantation Hotel reserves the right to charge any damage and resultant loss of revenue to your Credit Card after reasonable endeavours have been made to contact you.
• The Plantation Hotel reserves the right to immediately evict any guest in case of failure to obey any of the conditions of occupancy or any reasonable instruction from a staff member.

Child Policy
• Children under the age of 5 sleep free of charge in existing bedding.

Payment Policy

• All bookings must be paid in full prior to check-in.

• We accept payment by Cash, EFTPOS, Debit Card or Credit Card (MasterCard, Visa and AMEX only). A credit card surcharge of 1.5% applies.

• Fully Flexible Rates: A deposit of the full first night's rate is required at the time of booking. In the event you with to cancel, amend or whilst inhouse shorten your stay, the conditions of the cancellation policy for this booking applies to any nights you wish to cancel.

• Non-refundable Rates/Special Event Rates: A non-refundable deposit of the full amount for all nights booked is required at the time of booking. This includes all Book Today & Save, Stay 2 & Save, Stay 3 & Save and Special Event Rates.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be made 24hrs prior to your check in time. a Charge of your first nights stay will be charged for late cancellation or no shows.

• Fully Flexible Rates: Free cancellation is permitted up until 24 hours prior to the check-in date and time. Cancellations received prior to this will not incur any room charges and will be eligible for a full refund. Booking cancellations made within 24 hours prior to the check-in date and time, will incur the full charge for the first nights stay. Notice to shorten your stay, must be provided 24 hours prior to your intended check out date to avoid the full charge for the night(s) cancelled.

• Stay and Save Non-refundable Rates: Require full prepayment at the time of booking. Amendments, cancellations or refunds are not permitted.

• Special Event Rates: Require full prepayment at the time of booking. Amendments, cancellations or refunds are not permitted. A minimum 2-night stay is required unless otherwise stated.
