TERRACE ROOMS: These spacious and well appointed rooms are located adjacent to the heritage building, along Macartney Street. They are all furnished with super comfortable kingsize beds with ensuites and a settee and desk. They offer a bar fridge, tea&coffee making facilities, air conditioning and TV to guarantee your comfort for short or longer stays. A patio outside the double doors is a lovely place to sit and enjoy a cool beverage. PLEASE NOTE: WiFi not available in these rooms.

HERITAGE ROOMS: These beautiful rooms are located upstairs in the original building (no lift). All rooms are very generously proportioned and open onto the surrounding verandah. TVs in every room . Super comfortable king size beds with cotton bedding plus seating in every room and spacious ensuites, Lord Forrest suite has a spa bath for that extra touch of luxury and fun.

Classic 2, 4 and 5 are also Heritage rooms located upstairs, high ceilings with fan, plus air conditioning to keep you comfortable. These rooms have lovely ensuites, TV and seating. All rooms upstairs open onto the upstairs verandah, the perfect space to relax and enjoy a quiet drink. WiFi is available free in all Heritage rooms.

The restaurant and bar are currently closed. BYO is permitted in all accommodation rooms and wine and water glasses are provided.

The whole of the hotel and terrace rooms have been designated non-smoking to ensure the enjoyment of all our guests. Cleaning charges may be applied if these restrictions are ignored, .

Heritage rooms open onto the first floor verandah, with seating for two overlooking the main street.

We look forward to welcoming you to the York Palace Hotel. Checkin is from 2.30pm and Checkout by 10.30am.

For the comfort of all guests, the premises are designated completely non-smoking including the Terrace room patios and Heritage room verandah. Cleaning fees will be applied for smoking pollution residue in the guestrooms. for the safety of all guests, all the staff have received double vaccinations.

All rooms are for a maximum of two guests. Infants in arms are welcome using existing bedding.

Keys must be returned to the Front Office, or in the case of this being unmanned, the Key Bucket on the front hall table.

The customer shall comply with all Government (Federal and State) COVID-19 vaccination or testing
requirements for entry into Western Australia or to access the operator's premises, event or service. Where
the customer does not meet a vaccination or testing requirement:
(a) prior to departure from the customer’s home location, the customer will forfeit any and all monies
paid; or
(b) for entry to the event or venue or access to the service, the customer will not be granted entry and
will forfeit any and all monies paid.
Where the customer cancels due to travel restrictions other than vaccination or testing requirements, the
customer will be contacted and offered a refund or credit note (to be used at a later time), where such an
offer is at the absolute discretion of the operator. The operator reserves the right to withhold some monies
to cover administrative expenses and other losses, dependent on when notice of cancellation is given by the
customer

Payment Policy

Payment due when the cancellation date is reached. Visa and Mastercard accepted. Cash by arrangement. Pre-authorisation of your card may be applied. A surcharge of 1.5% is applied to credit card payments. To avoid this surcharge, please use the bank transfer method, or advise payment will be cash.

Cancellation Policy

Saturday cancellations must be received 7 days prior in writing or using the website..
No refunds will be given within these dates, regardless of reason for cancellation.

All Heritage rooms - 3 days prior to booking except Saturday.
Terrace rooms - 3 days prior for all days except Saturday.

In all cases where cancellation is unavoidable due to Covid restrictions on the clients' ability to reach the venue, no charges will be taken, unless the booking was made non-refundable.
