Built in 1840 Touchwood is the oldest private residence in Stanley. Heritage listed and decorated accordingly, it offers 1 Queen Bedroom, spacious kitchen, sitting room and newly renovated bathroom with large walk in shower and clawfoot bath. Also blessed with a beautiful wood fireplace providing plenty of warmth when needed. A second Fireplace is also available in the lounge room/TV room. Memories of the past are blended with the new in this beautiful colonial cottage....

Heritage listed, and 4 star rated, Touchwood Cottage was built in 1840 and is considered to be one of the earliest private residences in Stanley. Beautifully presented in period furniture with some modern additions, this charming cottage affords families plenty of space. A huge well appointed home-style kitchen with a roaring woodfire invites you to sit around the colonial table and share good food, wine and stories of your day spent exploring this exciting part of Tasmania. Featuring One Queen room and 1 twin room which has a separate en-suite & sitting/TV room (able to be let separately or jointly with the main cottage), a large fully refurbished bathroom with a clawfoot bath and walk in shower and a quaint sitting room, this elegant Dame of a cottage makes sure everyone enjoys their time within her walls. Sitting right at the base of the Nut and on Church Street you are in prime position to enjoy 1 minute walks to the beach, strolling the township, climbing the Nut or any other of the wonderful experiences Stanley has to offer.

Featuring an internal bluestone wall constructed from convict ship ballast from the 1800's, our romantic Studio Cottage provides a roomy kitchen, bathroom with intricate pressed tin ceiling, rose leadlight window and large shower. It features a tastefully decorated bedroom and sitting room. Cosy & warm, our delightful Studio boasts stunning Sawyer Bay views from every window. Fluffy bath robes are provided for your personal after shower comfort.
The Studio Cottage was originally the building that housed a small farm dairy.

The Pines Seaview Cottage / 1 Queen จอง

Nestled snuggly at the bottom of the garden, the Pines Cottage accommodates 2 guests with ease. Like an oversized cubby house, this cottage has a large open plan living space downstairs featuring a cathedral ceiling and stunning bay views. The twin bedroom and bathroom are also on ground level. A spacious queen room is in the loft with double dormer windows showcasing stunning water views and the surrounding landscape.
The cottage is fully self-contained, and features a cosy wood heater, reverse cycle air con/heating, and a roomy open plan kitchen/lounge room area. Being elevated above the town gives this cottage an excellent view point to show off the stunning Sawyer Bay views with Rocky Cape beyond.

The Pines Cottage is privately nestled in the bottom of the garden. Discreet in its knowing that it boasts elevated views over Stanley & Sawyer Bay. With its oversized cubby house design, The Pines offers two levels. A queen sleeping area on the mezzanine floor with dormer windows which showcase the bay views and surounding landscape, and a cosy twin bedroom downstairs with water views. The open plan living and fully self contained kitchen area is dominated by striking bay views. With only 1 minute walk to the beaches, The Nut, Cafes and Restaurants on the main street of Stanley, yet tucked away in the garden, The Pines is in a key location to explore all our lovely area has to offer.
