Cosy fires, hot spa baths, space and comfort await visitors to the stunning Upper Murray Cottages. Our family owned and operated property is the perfect location for a special romantic getaway weekend or for a fun-filled family holiday any time of year. Whatever the season, the Upper Murray Cottages will be able to tailor a package which caters to your needs.
The Upper Murray Cottages is one of Australia’s most picturesque and private retreats. The Cottages are situated on 180 acres of natural bush-land with sweeping views over the Murray River and across the valleys of the Upper Murray. Our property is located just 80 minutes east from Albury / Wodonga and Wagga Wagga,
The Resort Cottages are well behaved dog friendly.
The Upper Murray Cottages boasts 16 self-contained cottages, tennis court, two swimming pools and an outdoor spa available during the warmer months. All of the peaceful cottages have wood fires One complimentary bag of fire wood is included in your booking during the winter months. Twelve of the cottages are fitted with a spa bath. There is also four Pool View Studio Units with limited cooking facilities. The Studio Units are not suitable for pets.
It is adjacent to the Walwa Golf Course and the Murray River and with the new bike / walking track that is under construction at present, the link into Walwa will be made that much easier.
We can arrange breakfast provisions, for you to enjoy in the comfort of your own accommodation .
The purpose built Wildwood Function & Conference Centre is the perfect venue to celebrate your next special occasion, family affair, wedding or corporate retreat.

A first night deposit is required at the time of the reservation for all bookings. The peak Christmas and Easter Holidays also require a four night minimum booking.
Some special offers will require full payment at the time of booking and will be non refundable.
Failure to pay a deposit will result in an automatic cancellation of you booking. The balance of your account, including adjustments for a change in numbers or additional linen will be required to be paid on arrival. Payment by personal cheque is NOT accepted upon arrival with out prior arrangement
A $200 cash Security Deposit is required on check in if Credit Card details are not supplied.
Please Note: Cottage and Studio numbers can not be confirmed until the arrival date. We will endeavour to provide all guests with their preferred accommodation unit, however we cannot provide any guarantee. Management reserves the right to provide an equal alternative.

If your booking is cancelled due to Government Covid 19 travel restrictions or lock down a full refund of your deposit will be issued
Please be aware that for the time being it is a Victorian State Government regulation that all guests and visitors are required to be double vaccinated to access the common areas at the 2 pools on the property.
Cancellations for Christmas / January holidays, Easter and Long weekend and special event weekends require a minimum of 28 day notice. Cancellations made less than this time will only be refunded if the booking is resold for the minimum nights required.
If the booking is resold a refund of your deposit will be issued less a $30.00 administration fee.
For all other bookings cancellations made with more than 7 days notice are fully refundable all barring an administration and handling fee of $30.00. Cancellations made with less than 7 days notice will result in forfeiture of the deposit.
There are strictly no refunds if a cancellation is made during your stay.
