Yarrandabbi Dreaming is more a mini resort/ ApartHotel, being the Island's only Council approved and Commercially constructed accommodation establishment.

Only 1 hour from Brisbane, we offer stylish accommodation, free Jetty Transfers, free Wifi, RC Air conditioning, swimming pool and resort facilities, fishing off our beach and bowls or golfing nearby. Located on peaceful, secluded Secret Beach, looking East across Moreton Bay to nearby North Stradbroke Island, Yarrandabbi Dreaming may be your release from stress, set on over an acre of native gardens. Hear only the serene sound of lapping water and birdsong as you unwind. Couples and friends celebrate special events, birthdays and anniversaries, or, come to reconnect with each other. Some just 'chill out', recover and refresh, or, rediscover themselves in our natural environment. Escaping city life, perpetual Mainland noise, work and children, or, 'Girls Weekends Away' and just ‘being spoiled’ are popular reasons to stay.

Please be aware that this is a totally No Smoking Property! We do offer free Wifi to ' inhouse' guests - no streaming please.

Accommodation can be booked in;

a); the luxurious, 1 Queen bedroom for 2. or, 2 bedroomed (both with ensuite jetted Spa bathrooms) ground floor garden apartment with a full modern kitchen and very spacious lounge and dining room areas. If two bedrooms are required, for two people occupying the apartment, there is an additional payment of $80 due to secure the second bedroom.
A maximum of 2 children over 11 years may join you.
Enjoy free use of your own BBQ and deck overlooking the Swimming pool, the bikes, canoe, kayak and perhaps put out the Crab pot or fish. Or;

b); the delightful, 1 Queen bedroomed cottage (Shower bathroom - no Spa) for self-catering stays. with Continental breakfasts supplied, Courtesy transfers to/from Jetty and use of pool and your own BBQ included.

Our elegant Apartment Bedrooms, with Reverse Cycle Airconditioning throughout, are tastefully decorated with Wardrobes, fine bedroom furniture, bed linen and deluxe mattresses. The spacious Apartment has a Queen bed. If separate beds are required, there is an additional very spacious bedroom with either a King or 2 separate King single beds. This now becomes the two bedroomed Apartment. .Both of the bedrooms have their own Ensuite double Spa marble tiled bathrooms, luxury amenities, snow white towels and hairdryers. The bedrooms open out through floor to ceiling glass sliding doors , to their own private garden patios - enjoy your morning 'cuppa there whilst taking in the view across the bay.

The lovely lounge has a 42" flat-screened digital TV/DVD player with Foxtel and Netflix and lounge seating for 6. The open plan fully-equipped modern kitchen with its family sized fridge, microwave, electric stove with glass cook top, Oven and dishwasher is adjacent to the dining area with an inviting 6 seater dining table suite, matching the long teak buffet where games, a library of books and magazines are stored.

Upstairs, the "Sundowner Bar" stocks a pleasant selection of wines and beer at reasonable prices, or, you may BYO. On weekends B&B guests are invited to join us at the bar at 5.30pm for a Complimentary Happy Hour and a chat if you wish to learn about the Island.

Guests have their own spacious BBQ deck overlooking the pool. In Summer heat, shade sails shelter the dining tables and chairs there. We will supply utensils, crockery and oil, if you choose to use the BBQ.

The Cottage is a very spacious 1 Queen bedroom detached cottage with a large fully equipped modern kitchen, fridge, microwave, electric stove with glass cook top and oven, a pantry, open plan lounge/dining area for two, a large bathroom with leadlights and shower and shortly to have its own washing machine there too. There are airconditioning and fans in this cottage which also has a Patio with a garden /courtyard outlook across to bay glimpses. The cottage is also accessed by a convenient shaded flat walkway to its own off-street parking. Again the bedding is inviting and the towels are Florence Broadhurst designer towels

To eat out, the island offers Club Macleay Bowls and Golf Clubs, both with good Bistro restaurants offering courtesy transport. Takeaway options and a Scorpion Cafe Coffee Shop and excellent local Fish and Chinese Takeaway, Pete's Place are within 300 metres around the corner. The Blue Parrott Cafe for daytime coffee and meals and rustic Pub Paradise's simple Bistro, near the Jetty are open most days. Mamma’s Pizzas and BBQ Ribs may be delivered. If you choose, we will be pleased to set tables for your 'takeaway' dinners on the dining deck, adjacent to the "Sundowner Bar" - a romantic atmosphere with music of your choice, wine and candlelight!
